Sturbridge home at 79 Fairview Park Road
It’s finished! We dedicated the home at 79 Fairview Park Road to the newest Habitat Homeowners on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 9:30 AM. It was a warm day but many came out to meet Kimberly, Randy and their children Phelicia and Garrett, tour the home and say thank you to the volunteers and sponsors that made it possible to complete this build project!

Here’s the article that the Worcester T&G wrote about the Dedication Ceremony.

Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester formed a Local Project Committee consisting of local community members and organizations who were instrumental in making this project a success. Members of the Local Project Committee volunteered their time and talent in one of the following committees: Construction, Outreach, Fundraising, or the Family Partner committee.

This project is a single family home with approximately 1140 square feet of living space. The unit is designed as a raised ranch with three bedrooms and one and one half bathrooms. The structure will be detailed and landscaped in a manner compatible with neighboring homes as determined by the Town of Sturbridge.

The Tri-community Habitat project is built with volunteer labor. Build days were Thursdays and Saturdays. Building completion took approximately 12 months.

Meet the new homeowners: Kimberly Renaud and Randy Smith with their two children are the new homeowners of 79 Fairview Park Road, Sturbridge.
