Auburn Home Dedication December 2016

On Saturday, December 17th, we were pleased to welcome two families to their new duplex home located at 4 Homestead Avenue in Auburn. The land for this build was generously donated by Bank of America who, along with a long list of sponsors and donors, made this project possible. And, despite the unpredictable New England weather giving us an early winter snowstorm, we enjoyed the presence of many supporters who came to take part in the celebration. A family’s partnership with Habitat means they have a stable place to live, love, and contribute to their community. Congratulations to our newest homeowners in Auburn to whom we were delighted to partner with and offer a hand up – not a hand out! May Saturday’s dedication be the beginning of many happy memories to come!

Below are video segments from the dedication followed by a few photos. Enjoy!

Tim Firment, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester
